The business model of New Covenant Trust Company, a subsidiary of the Foundation, was purposefully designed to provide a much broader range of resources and services to a more focused group of clients. Company History

The Presbyterian Foundation began in 1799 for the purpose of gathering, stewarding, and distributing funds for mission. The New Covenant Trust Company, N.A. was formed in 1998 and is a for-profit subsidiary of the Foundation purposefully designed to provide a much broader range of resources and services to a more focused group of clients. Within the team of experienced professionals, the skills and expertise possessed and coupled with the resources provided are designed to best serve people of faith and faith-based institutions. The Trust Company's charter from the OCC allows us to provide investment advice and provides clients with the added comfort of knowing their financial service provider is being held to the highest safety and soundness standards of the Office of the Comptroller of Currency. This is unlike most non-profits and foundations. Simply put, our national OCC charter and strict adherence to regulatory oversight allow us to provide investment services and advice that non-profits and foundations simply cannot.
